Shooters Lose But Move Into Second Place !!!

The Shooters are alone in secoind place in the division 2 points behind the Hornets.
The Shooters have a chance to move into a first place tie with a victory next Tuesday when they face their division rival.
With the Shooters down a 3 points in the standings they faced a desperate Tigers team trying to get back into the playoff hunt.
The game was a close all the way through but the Shooters tired late in the game and the Tigers were able to tie the game with the goalie pulled in the last minute of play.
A questionable penalty was called in overtime and the Tigers scored the game winner to keep their slim playoff hopes alive.
Goaltender Jim Williams played a great game despite being under the weather.
The run to the playoffs begins next Tuesday when the Shooters face the Hornets in a battle for first place!
